Chappan Bhog_Diwali
Ajmal_muhuja Muhuja in Arabic means very close to heart. The visual is of a Lady lost in her thoughts who expresses her inner moods and feelings unknowingly;the cool atmosphere reveals her deep passion when she scribbles a heart symbol... a clear connotation that she is in love. The visual is seen a lady drawing a heart on window glass, completely out of world. The droplets symbolise the state of mind... The visual idea was cracked by an Egyptian colleague of Shaji Kizhakathra, Mr. Aala. Shaji then directed the model shoot and illustration. Ajmal_Ghala In Arabic, Ghala means something extremely rich. Shaji's copy writer Mayura came up with an idea of showing the bottle surrounded by two three jewellery peice. Shaji asked about making it maximum... creating an extravagant ambiance, a forest made of jewellery! Sounds great.. but how? Shaji did a rough scribble, called his friend Sunil Raju whom he thought would be patient enough to do the shoot, explained and inspired him within minutes. Walked down the shopping streets to check if he could hire jewellery items and search all the items that could could create a forest feel such as creep, grass, flowers etc. all to make sure that the gravity and visual composition placements are okay. Shot Jewellery one by one.. there were so many peices.. some with different angles.. At the end, it counted about 150 jewellery shots. Perfume bottle was placed in the forest.. the shadow of the upfront plants had to fall on the bottle..shot with that kind of lighting keeping the final visual in mind. Cutting out 150 intricate jewellery piece is a mundane task for any artist. Shaji gave that to a freelancer to get it done. The ad grabbed good response from the market. Exposure- Outdoor, all across UAE. (See below)
